The cutting of the Vasilopita cake is a time-honored tradition of the Greek and Cypriot families and takes place on New Year’s Day to bless the house and bring good luck for the new year. A gold coin is hidden inside the cake and the person who finds it in their piece, will have luck all through the year.
This tradition is also followed by many companies during the first months of the year and at iSPIRAL, we follow the traditions with devotion. Like every year, we welcomed the New Year with the cutting of the Vasilopita cake and the lucky winner will receive a special gift.
It was a great chance to bring again our team members together, exchange wishes for the new year and make our resolution for the year we said Goodbye to.
