iSPIRAL Advances Anti-Money Laundering Compliance

iSPIRAL, the region’s leading provider of regulatory technology solutions, recently demonstrated its ongoing commitment to combating money laundering and promoting regulatory compliance through its sponsorship of and participation in a series of prestigious seminars entitled ‘Anti-Money Laundering: Practical Considerations for Regulatory Compliance’.

Each of the four half-day events was organised by the Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CYFA), and brought together industry professionals and experts to explore the latest trends and strategies in anti-money laundering (AML) practices.

Comprehensive Insights

Taking place between May 16 and 24 at Limassol’s Columbia Plaza Venue Centre, and Nicosia’s Cleopatra Hotel, the seminars attracted an audience of professionals from financial institutions, corporate services, and the legal sector.

“As a prominent figure in the regulatory technology space, iSPIRAL recognises the significance of these seminars in fostering awareness and understanding of AML requirements within the financial industry,” says Christos Ttiniozou, Managing Director at iSPIRAL. “The comprehensive insights and practical considerations discussed within these seminars are crucial to enhance regulatory compliance efforts both nationally and globally.”

Enabling participants to delve into the evolving landscape of AML regulations and the assessment of emerging risks, while simultaneously presenting valuable knowledge on implementing effective compliance measures, the four seminars featured a diverse range of topics. These included the prevention and suppression of money laundering and terrorist financing, practical considerations for regulatory compliance, EU regulations and directives related to AML, and the relevance of sanctions lists.
