In recent years, it has become a necessity for financial institutions to have sound Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & fraud detection systems in place, for the purpose of efficiently and effectively detecting and preventing fraudulent operations in financial operations, such as money laundering and theft. Failing to detect suspicious activity effectively, indicates that a company fails to comply with the AML Law, resulting in significant fines, and reputational damages. The aforementioned reasons led to an exponential growth of the Fraud, Know Your Customer (KYC) & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) market size, reaching $2.3 billion in 2018 with a projection to reach $7.2 billion by 2023, growing at a CAGR of 25.4% during the forecast period 2018–2023.
