The 7th International Compliance Forum took place on October 15th at the Hilton Park, Nicosia and made for a great sequel to a successful events line. The forum welcomed people in a physical environment weaving the “Back to normality” flag while maintaining a digital set-up for international audiences and speakers alike.
The event emphasised the latest challenges facing the global compliance and ethics community. It served as a platform to help facilitate discussions on the benefits of having a well-structured compliance workflow and how this will in turn lead to a return on investment for a firm.
Like every year, IMH invited exceptional professionals within the financial and compliance sects to speak at the 7th ICF. Among them was our Managing Director, Christos Ttiniozou who participated in the panel for Technology in Compliance which covered:
- The impact of technology on regulatory compliance
- The way RegTech can help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance processes
- If RegTech can eventually replace compliance professionals or become a tool that will help them better conduct KYC and AML.
