THE POSITION:

• Discussing with Data Scientist & Management team to determine machine learning objectives
• Designing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence (AI) software to  automate predictive models
• Transforming data science prototypes and applying appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimizing existing    machine learning libraries and frameworks
• Developing ML algorithms to analyze huge volumes of historical data to make predictions
• Running tests, performing statistical analysis, and interpreting test results
• Lead end-to-end big-data ML projects 
• Discovering and translating business challenges into data-pipelines and model framework
• Deliver fast while continually adjusting models according to real-time feedback
• Documenting machine learning processes
• Keeping abreast of developments in machine learning

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Computer or Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or related field 
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Advanced proficiency with Python, Java, C++
• In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
• Knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures/modeling and software architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Greek is a plus
